Hey Guys,

Today I watched Episode 6 of Vividred Operation and Episode 6 of Problem Children are Coming from Another Planet, Aren't They?
Arkane's tent suit
In Vividred, the girls are going to summer school on the beach.  Ok, if summer schools were supposed to be at the beach, everyone would want to go.  Anyway, Granddad uses this as an excuse for team building exercises with the girls.  He kidnaps one of there classmates, bright idea there, pops! and uses lame attempts to force the girls into better friendship.  This is stupid. The only thing I thought was good was Himawari pushing every button that says "don't push".  Oh, and I'm sure Arkane's bathing suit becoming a tent, where inside she's naked was a just an attempt for the old pervert to get a peek at his granddaughter's goods.  Another thing is that Arkane is definitely the weak link in the intelligence factor because she was the only one to not recognize Rei as the "masked girl", when she has spent more time with her then the other three combined. Ugh.  This show is somehow dumb and entertaining.

On Problem Children, The girls find out that Black rabbit is keeping a secret from them about some party on the north part of the Little Garden from them.  It turns out that it is a really far from them and they hid it because they knew the kids would want to go.  Izayoi talks Shiroyasha into taking them there while giving B.R. a note that if she doesn't catch the three of them, they will leave the community.  This pisses her off.  She finds them, captures Yo, then Asuka while she is strolling around with Izayoi.  Then she gets into a game with Izayoi about who will get the other.  Their game ends up destroying a big part of the city and ends in a draw, just when the fuzz arives.  Someone will have to pay for the mess, I think.

Have a good day!

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah,

I've been behind a little bit.  Sorry.  I'll try to do better at writing these everyday.

Jin and Misaki
Today I watched the latest episode available to me of The Pet Girl of Sakurasou.  this episode is centered around the Misaki-Jin relationship.  Jin has been accepted to the Univerisity in Osaka.  He calls to tell Misaki but she doesn't answer, being consumed in her work.  Sorata along with Nanami and Mashiro, go down to the school to see the applicants test results to see if  Yuko passed.  Once again Mashiro makes Sorata and Nanami uncomfortable about their relationship.  Sorata asks her why she is coming with them.  Mashiro replies that whether or not Yuko gets in, has effects on her future.  If she gets in, she will have to resort to "Plan C'. (Which is Total Annihilation, because Yuko is a threat for Sorata's attention.)  They find out that Yuko did not pass the entrance exam.  Jin's friend and his girlfriend are there and ask Sorata if Misaki is with him because Jin is at the school and it could be their last chance to get them together before he goes away.  Sorata and Mashiro go to stop Jin and Nanami goes back to Sakura Hall to get Misaki.  Misaki resists going but Nanami forces her to go.  Jin and Sorata get in a violent fist fight on the roof because Sorata thinks Jin should get with Misaki.  Misaki arrives on the roof.  Jin feels that he is always going to be chasing after Misaki because she is so smart and talented.  He tells her that she knows his scripts aren't good enough for her, which she admits and that is why he is going to Osaka to make something that is worthy of her talents.  He gives her a ring to keep guys away from her while is gone.  Everyone is happy and the end up locking some teachers on the roof, only to get back to Sakura Hall where Chihiro tells them that the school has decided to demolish Sakura Hall. Ahhhhh!

Hi Guys,

Today I sat down and watched episode 6 of Amnesia and episode 5 of Vividred Operation.

Heroine
In Amnesia, the heroine found out that she was in the Ikky fan club.  They also went to the mountain retreat that she had been at in her previous adventures.  There she sat back and watched the other girls fawn over Ikky.  Then when the two of them are alone, they share a moment and kiss.  Later, Rita, who appears to be the head of the fan club, asks her where her daily reports are on what she does with Ikky.  This all seems a little weird for me.  He doesn't seem to be worth all this trouble.  The other girls in the fan club bully her and push her into a boat, which starts to sink.  Orion shows up again for......Nothing.........he can't save her, and at the end we see her drifting towards the bottom of the lake.

Rei
In Vivid red Operation, we get the skinny on the dark haired chick, Rei, that has been powering up the Alone.  Apparently she is from another world that was destroyed and a bird talks her into revenge by helping the alone.  She has  a feather tattoo which the bird can use to give her pain.  What the hell is this bird's stupid problem?!  he should go get some bread at the park or something.  Anyway, her job is to destroy the manifest engine.  She tries but fails and falls into the water.  Arkane who has tried to talk to her at school, finds her washed up on the beach and cares for her.  The next time the Alone attack, she tries to go power them up but she is weak from being ill. That will probably piss off that stupid bird.

February 17, 2013

Well,

Today I watched a mini Sword Art Online marathon,  three episodes actually.  9, 10, and 11.  in 9, Kirito and Asuna, after peeking at the boss for that level, bump into Klein and his group, then a squad from the Liberation Army.  Kirito gives his map info to the Army and they decide to fight the boss.  They then decided to follow to make sure they are alright.  They arrive at the boss room to see the army squad getting pummeled.  Asuna jumps in to help, then Klein and Kirito.  The boss is tough and Kirito has to use his unique secret skill, "dual wielding" and defeats the boss himself.  Asuna decides she wants to take a leave from the "Knights of the Blood Oath" guild and hang out with Kirito.  The leader of the guild does not let her and challenges Kirito to a duel.  If he wins, Asuna can leave.  If he losses, he has to join the guild.  I didn't understand this, if it is game, why can't she do whatever she likes.  Maybe it just shows that living in that game for so ling makes them believe it is their life.  Kirito does LOSE the duel and he is forced to join the guild.  They give him a special white and red outfit of the black one he normally wears.

Kirito is told because he is a new member he must get his skills tested and goes to the dungeon with Godfrey and Kuradeel.  When the three stop to rest, Godfrey and Kirito drink some water.  Water which was tampered with by Kuradeel to paralyze them.  He kills Godfrey and almost kills Kirito, but Asuna was watching them on the map and came to his rescue.  They are granted a leave by Heathcliff, the leader of the guild and together they get married and by a quaint log cabin on a peaceful level.  They have fun hanging out and playing games.  In episode 11, they find a girl wandering in the woods.  She has no cursor and passes out so they take her home.  When she wakes up, she thinks they are her parents.  The take her to the Town of Beginnings to find out where her real parents are, if she has any?  They get into a scuffle with the Liberation Army, who is in control of the city.

Hey Guys,

Today I watched one episode of two different shows.  I watched the latest episode available to me of "The Pet Girl of Sakurasou" and Episode "V" of "Amnesia"

In "The Pet Girl"' it is Valentines Day and Nanami is up early, nervous for her audition.  Mashiro gets a call from her editor asking her to do the cover for the next magazine.  She actually gets herself ready, minus one sock and refuses to let Sorata check her case to make sure she has everything important.  She tells him that "She's even packed her "fighting spirit".  I thought that was hilarious.  Problems arise when on her way to the audition, Nanami's train gets stopped and she fears she won't get there in time.  Enter Sorata to the rescue!  He borrows a bike, picks her up where the train is stuck and rides her to the audition.  I felt like he was just being a nice guy because she is his friend but I can see where it might be a little confusing for her.  In the excitement, Sorata forgot that he was supposed to meet Mashiro on the roof.  He rode back to the school where he found her on the roof.  She gave him a box of bamboo shoots, remembering how he said he liked them on the trip to his house during the break.  That was sweet.  we never found out what happened with the audition nor did Nanami give Sorata the chocolates she bought in the previous episode.  Also, Rita flew in for the day from England to see Ryuunosuke, only for him to lock himself in the bathroom.

In Amnesia, Mary goes on a date with Ikki, where he tells her that they are dating.  He only dates women for three months and seems to be counting down with her.  Although he tells her she is not like the other girls he has dated.  this is all very confusing to her as well as very confusing to me.  Orion shows up again, finally, and gives us crap, to help us understand. Let's see what happens in "VI", before I dump this confusing anime.

Today i got back on to Soul Eater and watched two episodes.  In these episodes, Maka has to face her fears about Soul getting hurt.  Medusa is confronted by two witches and kills one and bullies the other into helping her fry "prisoner 13" from witch prison.  He is an immortal that took the grand witch's eye.  He has been imprisoned for over 200 years. He battles Maka and Soul along with Black Star and Tsubaki on London Bridge.  Maka has a hard time fighting because her and Soul's soul wavelengths are out of whack due to the effect of Soul's getting injured.  Black Star was able to hold Tsubaki in her Demon Sword mode but not for long until he passed out.  Maka eventually summoned enough strength to defeat the enemy, who had transformed into an immortal werewolf, with the help of his own clumsiness and Black Star waking up in time to cut his arm off a falling Maka.

We'll see if those two kids can get it back on track.

February 13, 2013

Hello,

Today I got back and watched an episode of my favorite "kiddie porn power rangers", "Vividred Operation."

In this episode, we met a new member of the team, Himawari Shinomiya.  She is a reclusive hacker that attends school with a camera because of an incident in the past where a friend betrayed her.  She is smart at technological things and figures out the vivid system within minutes.  She docks with Akane and Vivid Yellow has a very powerful weapon that destroys "The Alone".

The one question I have, and I'm sure we'll find this out. Who is the girl who fires the arrows to make the Alone power up, and what's here motive.

Hi there,

I didn't actually watch any anime today.  I have actually been obsessed with figuring out this Japanese web site I found.  It is called Ameba.jp.  It seems to me that it is a blogging/facebook hybrid site.  They have a additional part called Pigg, where you are a little character and you can go to rooms and interact with people.  It is fun and I've been trying to figure out what is going on because it is all in Japanese and I can't read it.  Also, in Pigg, my browser won't trasnslate pictures and that is what everyone's words are.  I did meet some nice people who were willing to write in English to me.  I appreciated that alot. I feel like I am a visitor in their world and I don't want to become a nuisance.

So if your curious, check it out.  www.ameba.jp Sign up and look me up.  My name is earl77.

Well Guys,

Today I just watched an episode of my favorite show "The Pet Girl of Sakurasou".  In this episode Sorata goes for his second try at the Video game design competition.  He did not win, but they said they would help him try to improve his game design, "Rhythm Battler", a game where you defeat the enemy by hitting the right buttons to music.  To me it sounds like a Guitar Hero or similar.  I've seen a few of these games on the net and Youtube.  Nanami gets Sorata to rehearse with her for her upcoming audition.  she picked a script written by Jin for Misaki's anime.  It is about a couple confessing their love for each other.  Her friends at school want her to use the rehearsal time to actually confess to him, and since Valentine's Day is around the corner, the girls' anxiety is high.  Especially Moshiro's who is sensing a connection between Sorata and Nanami.  Will we finally see "Plan C".  I am hoping!  Oh, Yuko stopped in to take her entrance exam.

February 10, 2013

Hi folks

Today I watched two different shows, both of which are from this season. Amnesia and Problem Children Are Coming From Another Planet, Aren't They?

In Amnesia, Mary finds out from Shin what exactly happened on the night of her accident. Shin also said that his father killed a man when he was a boy. She thought she thought that this was what she remembered before and maybe got it confused. She then woke up on August 1st again and now another guy from the cafe is calling on her for a date. When she goes down to meet him, the girls that threatened her in episode I, that she remembered cutting her hair were with him. Then the mean looking woman showed up ....

On PCACFAP,AT?, the demon lord who was a friend of the No Names was going to be put up for a prize in a gift game. Jin was hoping to win her back to his group but the game was canceled. She escaped to see Jin and the others but was taken back by her owners, the Perseus clan, and turned to stone. Black Rabbit tried to negotiate her back but the leader of the Perseus clan wanted her for the trade. In the end, the No Names challenged the Perseus Clan.

February 9, 2013

Hello folks,

I didn't really watch any shows today since it was my day off from work and I had to got some things done. (for a change)  On days where I don't actually watch any anime, I decided I will review a show that I had finished previous to writing this blog.  It will not be a detailed review, pretty much my opinions after the fact.  Since it might have been some time since I watched it.

Today I will talk about "High School of the Dead."  This anime is a zombie story where a high school kid and some friends stick together to make it out of the zombie apocalypse.   This was one of the first animes that I watched straight through, meaning one after the other without watching any other shows in between.  i felt the subject matter and story was good.  They didn't seem to change zombie behavior or anything like that.  I liked the opening theme.  The things I didn't like about it was that the only way I could tell the girls apart was by what panties they had on.  This was because there were a lot of fan service shots of the action from a crotch angle.  Episode 6, I remember was a blatant fan service episode and probably my first experience with those.  Couldn't watch that around the kids.  The ending was left up in the air only to find out they were not going to make a season two.  Darn. Oh, I just read there will be a season 2, but no date yet.  I'll just have to wait.  Hopefully Crunchyroll will get that one.

February 8, 2013

Oh well,

Today I just watched two episodes of "Soul Eater" again.  This show has been my dinnertime routine lately mostly because the bowler is into it too.  He says that it is his fault for "getting me into anime" because he would watch Naruto on Netflix and I sat in one day and watched  a bunch of them with him.  It probably peeked my interest but I don't think it got me into anime.

The two episodes I watched focused pretty much on Tsubaki.  We learned about her backstory and her brother, since he was the Enchanted Sword Masamune.  We also learn a little about Black Star's backstory. That he is from a clan of assassins that started eating human souls.  Lord Death and the meisters of the academy had killed them to stop them from becoming Kishins and took Black Star in because he was a baby.  At the end of the first episode, Tsubaki enters the sword to fight Masamune inside.

In the second episode, Tsubaki and Masamune fight and gets her ASS handed to her but somehow and I'm not really sure, she wins, leaves the sword and is unharmed in the "real" world.  I would think that she would have some effects physically from the battle inside the sword but, guess not.  The play by play from Lord Death, Stein and Maka and Soul's worrying was annoying and I was wishing they would shut up the entire time.

Ta ta.....

February 7, 2013

Hey everyone, Today I watched two episodes of "Sword Art Online " In the first one, Kirito went shopping for a new sword and met a cute smith named Liz. They decide to go fight a dragon to get some special metal to make his sword. On the adventure, the two fall into the dragon's nest but Kirito is able to get them out. Liz likes Kirito and confesses to him but he doesn't hear her. Back at the shop she makes him a sword. She then backs off liking him when she finds out he knows Asuna. I didn't get it because I felt there was no indication that either of them had a thing for the other, although I know that's where it is headed. I thought it is weird that it has been two years in the game and it is only episode 7. I feel the story could have been even more interesting if the game action was developed a little better. Instead.we are just getting Kirito's relatively with various women. In the next episode, Asuna makes Kirito a stew. Pretty boring episode except that it might have laid some ground work for Asuna to be in trouble with her guild.

February 6, 2013

Well today I had an interesting viewing day.  I watched one episode of four different shows.
The first show I watched was "Soul Eater", episode 9 "Legend of The Holy Sword: Kid and Black Star's Big Adventure"
Death The Kid and Black Star

In this episode, Black Star gets assigned to clean the library by Sid.  While he is there, Kid comes in looking for a book about Excalibur, the Holy Sword that can give it's user power and glory.  They decide to go find it.  After a short adventure they find the sword and both of them are able to pull the sword out.  It then transforms into a white penguin looking thing in a top hat.  The penguin turns out to be really annoying and they put it back and leave.  This was a cute episode, pretty funny I thought but didn't progress the plot very much because Soul was still in the hospital recuperating.

Vivid Green

i then watched episode 3 of "Vividred Operation."  "True Strength".  I would like to say that Grampa Isshiki must be the sickest scientist to ever want to save the world.  First what was he thinking, yeah I will to make a suit to fight the "Alone" and at the same time, I make it so I can get my fourteen year old granddaughter and her friends to get naked and kiss, and hey how about some "docking".  I'm going to give this some more time before I quit it because it is so over the top wrong.   They introduced a new character Wakaba Saegusa.  She becomes the green "Palette Ranger."  We'll see.

I then watched episode 3 of "Problem Children are Coming from Another World, Aren't They?"  In this episode, The girls get to know each other in the bath, Izayoi makes a plan with an uneasy Jin to help get the No-Name Clan back to it's hay day and they fight Galdo as a gift game.  They end up killing him but You gets hurt.

Finally, I watched Episode III of Amnesia.  Mary goes home from the hospital with Shin.  I am still a little confused because I thought it was around August 8th, when they went to the mountain villa, but in the hospital it said the first.  But Mary finds out that her accident did take place at the villa, but the circumstances around it are sketchy.  Shin tries to jog her memory by taking her to familiar places.  We find out they were dating and that Mary is a singer in a band.  I find this one intriguing but the character's outfits ridiculous.  Where the heck is Orion?

Have a good day!

February 5, 2013

Hello,

Not much going on today.  I watched one episode of "Vivid Operation."  It was episode 2, "When Two Become One."  So we finally get to see what "docking" is.  When the evil disco ball with legs gets suped up due to the lightening arrow sent by the chick in the scarf and short-shorts, Arkane and Aoi have to dock.  But oh no, it doesn't work.  Stuffed animal Grandpa says that one of them is not allowing the docking to take place!  What arey going to do, the thing is destroying the island?  Alas, Aoi admits she was the one who was prohibiting the docking.  Why???? Because she hates tomatos and doesn't want Arkane to find out because she gave her a tomato when they first met and had said it was delicious!  Ahhhhh, It was was so touching..........Not really.  Anyway, Aoi kisses Arkane again and they merge together by stripping down to their undies and unite to form Vivid Blue.

  Vivid Blue

So what we have here is a teen girl "power rangers."  This should be interesting.  I think Aoi became the suit, not sure yet, and it has an engine powered hammer weapon that can energize to 200%.  Huh, if it's capable of going that high, shouldn't be 100%? Is this like Nigel cranking it to eleven? Don't know.

They defeat the disco ball, everyone is happy until the next day when they realize their school is destroyed.  If I was a kid, that would have made me happy!

Later.

February 4, 2013

When I first started this blog, I had the intention of watching an anime everyday and then writing about it.  I thought "How hard would it be to watch twenty-four minutes of tv and comment on it every day?"  I discovered the past few days that sometimes it is harder than I thought.  I guess we all get busy sometimes, and let's face it, have to spend time with the family every once in a while.  So, Saturday, I went on a family drive and we had fun together. This surprised me a little since the boys are almost grown and her and me don't get along too much lately.  We used to go on drives alot when the price of gas was reasonable.  Now, it is just a luxury we can't afford.

      Sunday was Superbowl Sunday.

I actually watched the game, which I didn't really intend on watching the whole thing, but I did for the most part, aside from texting and looking at apps for my phone.  I thought the NFL did a good job in halting the game with the power outage to get "everyone" on the same page to make it an exciting close game.  I have thought for a while that the league controls outcomes and match ups based on which story lines are better to sell games, especially the Superbowl.  Let's face it, football is a billion dollar business, why would they allow fans to turn away from a blow out.  I don't really have any proof, and can honestly admit, many of my examples that I have used to back this theory can be looked at from other angles and mean different things.  I would like to say that I believe the latest news from Tim Brown and Jerry Rice that the year the Raiders were in the Superbowl saying the head coach, I forget his name right now, didn't do in their opinion enough to win that game because he wanted his friend John Gruden to win is interesting.  I feel if this coach held back anything in the game, it wasn't out of mere loyalty for a friend.  Friend or not, he is your competition and is there to be beaten by you.  I think it probably had do do with the NFL wanting the Buccaneers to win for some reason. I have no idea why.  Just that it was better for business in their point of view, probably since Tampa Bay has always been a non factor in NFL history. Anyway, I think the League, owners, head coaches and coordinators are involved.  Maybe some high profile players, I don't know.  After all, it is entertainment, like Pro Wrestling, LOL.

Today, I got back on the Soul Eater track with Episodes 7 and 8.  These consisted of Maka and Souls battle with a Meister and weapon pair of Crona and Ragnarok.  These two are different because Ragnarok is a demon sword who is actually inside of Crona.  They are supported by a witch, Medusa, who at the end of episode 8, we found out is Meister Academy's doctor! Ahhh!  This could be interesting.  Back to episode 7, Maka and Soul fight Crona and Ragnarok but the outcome is grim after Soul gets injured defending Maka.  Woop dee doo, Stein and Spirit, Maka's Dad, to the rescue.  They defeat Crona and Ragnarok and have a brief skirmish with the witch until she retreats with Crona.

January 31, 2013

Today I was busy working on an Anime of my own, therefore I only watched one show.  That was an episode of "The Pet Girl of Sakurasou."

The episode is called "Where's Your Usual Self?"  In it, Sakura Hall is closing for the winter break and the students have to leave.  Misaki, Nanami, and Mashiro all end up going with Sorata to his home.  Misaki because her hometown reminds her of Jin, Nanami can't go home because her parents don't approve of her attending that school, and Mashiro
knew she would be going with Sorata.  They take the bullet train and meet Sorata's Mom and Dad. Nanami helps Sorata's sister Yuri study and Sorata asks for him to let Yuri take the entrance exam at his school.  Nanami then talks seriously to Sorata about their plans.  Mashiro still seems confused about her feelings but knows Sorata likes her when she draws.  Masaki is depressed the whole time until she realizes that Jin wants her to continue to work hard on her animation.  The family and friends all go watch the sun rise on New Years Day and shout out their goals.  This show gets me every time.  Sniffle, Sniffle.
I really liked Sorata's Dad.  A great comical character.  Especially when he gets in the tub with Sorata.
Sorata's Dad

January 30, 2013

Today I watched only shows I could see on the Wii.  Youtube and Netflix only.  I just felt like lounging around in the living room.  I ended up seeing episodes of "Soul Eater," and one episode of "Sekirei: Pure Engagement."

The "Soul Eater" episodes were 4, 5 and 6.  In episode 4 and 5, Maka, Soul, Black Star, and Tsubaki are ordered to take remedial training by defeating the former teacher Sid, who is now a zombie, and "the person who made him", Dr Frank N. Stein.  the four manage to successfully apprehend Sid but have a tough battle with Stein.  At the end, it is revealed that this was just a training exercise and Stein stays on at the academy as the groups teacher.
In episode 6, Death the Kid decides to enroll in Meister Academy.  He his met on his way in by Black Star and Soul Eater who want to defeat him because Black Star is the "biggest star" of the academy.  He hasn't liked that all the other students are talking about the new student.  A big battle breaks out with Death, Liz and Patty kicking Black Star's butt.  Soul manages to cut some of Death's bangs and when Death realizes this, he falls to the ground with a nose bleed.  This makes Black Star claim the victory.  These episodes were pretty fun.  The opening song by the way is "Resonance" by TM Revolution.

"Sekirei: Pure Engagement" is actually the second season of "Sekirei."  I watched the first season awhile ago and only recently found the second season on Netflix through FUNimation.  This is what I was complaining about the FUNimation Free app, this series is not available on the app, but I can freely watch it on Youtube.
I watched episode 7.  In this episode, several Sekireis are fighting for their Ashikobis so they can get the last unemerged sekirei.  He is Homura, aka Kagari.  He is a male character but because his body is "unstable," he has breasts.  He wants to kill himself, but Minato jumps in the flames and kisses him, making Homura emerge.  Now Minato has six sekireis.  Musubi, Tsukiumi, Matsu, Ku, Kazehana, and Homura.  I liked the story in the first season but am bored with it so far in season 2.  There is quite a bit of big breast fan service in the series, if you like that sort of thing.

Sorry this is late, the Internet crapped out on me the other day and I couldn't get it posted.
